Going South

Meeting at Sandown for lunch, and a visit to the Wight Aviation Museum – one of the best kept secrets on the isle… From full-size Black Arrow Rocket, to variety of elegantly arranged displays and exhibits, the Museum celebrates the Isle of Wight’s aviation history and heroes (with a display dedicated to Mary Ellis, amongst others). Of special interest to us is a display dedicated to Beagle Aircraft, with a focal point being a VR Flight simulator, utilising a Bulldog!

We are expected for lunch at the excellent Island Bistro.
