Deenethorpe Auster Fly-in

Quoting the write-up from their website:
“A fly-in is planned at Deenethorpe for 1st/2nd August. All are welcome and we also hope to get a few extra and interesting non-Austers there on the day.
Food will be available Saturday lunchtime and also in the evening for those staying over. Also for the campers there are good toilet facilities and a shower available. Landing fee is £10 and overnight parking free.
The Beagle Club have also been invited to join us for the day so there will be our aircraft cousins to catch up with, as well as other types. Some military vehicles will be attending and there will be a chance for a ride or two down the peri-track for all those attending. NB – there is no fuel at Deenethorpe, the nearest airfields with fuel are Leicester, Sibson and Coningsby.

The overnight stay is OK, hence a two-day window. While our members are will e welcomed on either
day, for those who are not staying overnight I would suggest going on Saturday, leaving Sunday as a
weather safety net. Let me repeat two important points from the message above:
1. There is no fuel at Deenethorpe, the nearest airfields with fuel are Leicester, Sibson, Coningsby
