Honorary recruit #11, possibly the most fussed over.In the first week of September, we have welcomed 10 new Club members! Probably the highest number of new recruits in the shortest time span. Most of them joined us at our stand during the LAA Rally at Leicester Airport. We had a wale of a time there, it’s such a relaxing but rewarding environment, mixing with aviators, aviation enthusiasts and aficionados.
Next year we might ask for more members to help manning (womanning? personing?) the stand, so that everyone helping gets a chance of walking the airplane lines and seeing other exhibitors. By all accounts, this year’s Rally was a big success, so with any luck it will be even better next year. Can we beat the number of new recruits then?
